Terms of use

These terms cover the Z-Maps Car application and the site z-maps.z-cloud.com.vn, provided by Z-SOFT CO., LTD. Installing or using the app means you accept them.

1. The app assists a driver; it does not replace one

Z-Maps Car displays your speed, an estimated speed limit and overspeed warnings. That is reference information. Road signs and traffic law are always the authority. You remain fully responsible for controlling the vehicle, including when the app is wrong, late, or showing nothing at all.

2. Most speed limits are inferred

Public map data carries no speed-limit signs, so most limits are inferred by the app from road class and area under Circular 31/2019/TT-BGTVT. The figure shown can be lower or higher than what is actually permitted. Inferred values always carry the words ~ estimated. We make no accuracy guarantee and accept no liability for fines or losses arising from relying on that figure.

3. No personal data is collected

The app has no account to sign in to and sends neither your location nor your journeys anywhere. The Privacy page has the detail.

4. Advertising in the app

The app carries an advertising area. Ads are selected by slot, never by individual user. Advertising content is the responsibility of the advertiser; we screen it against the policy on the Advertise page, but we do not endorse and are not responsible for their products, services or promises. Tapping an ad takes you out of the app and onto their site, where their own terms apply.

5. Maps and third-party data

Map data belongs to OpenStreetMap contributors and is published under the ODbL licence. Map tiles are served by OpenFreeMap. We do not control the completeness or accuracy of that data, and the tile service may be interrupted for reasons outside our control.

6. Installation and distribution

The app is published as an APK on this site. You may install it on your own devices and use it personally or within your business. You may not modify, decompile, repackage or redistribute the APK under another name. Download only from z-maps.z-cloud.com.vn — we take no responsibility for an APK obtained elsewhere.

7. No warranty

The app is provided "as is". We do not promise that it runs on every head unit or that it runs without fault, and to the extent the law allows, we accept no liability for indirect losses arising from its use.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the app changes. A new version is posted on this page with its date. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the new version.
